Adam has a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MRes in Cancer Biology from Nottingham Trent University. He began his career on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic as an RNA Extraction Technician at PerkinElmer, before moving to Achilles Therapeutics, where he worked in process development to improve the generation of their Clonal Neoantigen-reactive T cell (cNeT) therapy and in immune monitoring for the CHIRON and THETIS clinical trials. He later worked at Excellerate Bioscience, a Nottingham-based CRO, focusing on assay development, optimisation, and client compound screening. Adam joined the Platelet Services Team in 2026 as a Research Scientist.
