Natalia has over 13 years of experience working with platelets and her research has led to some innovative approaches in platelet function analysis. After completing her degree in general medicine, she went on to pursue her PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Natalia was awarded an Enterprise Fellowship to enable translation of her findings into improved healthcare and has authored and co-authored 17 publications in peer-reviewed journals. She completed several business courses before being appointed as the Director of Business Development for a University of Nottingham spin-out company, Platelet Solutions. In 2018, she co-founded Platelet Services to provide contract research support in the field of platelet testing and has taken on responsibility as the CEO of the company.
